Jody Hice

Jody Hice was appointed to the Board of the Office of Congressional Conduct on June 11, 2025. Before joining the Board, he was a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives representing Georgia’s 10th Congressional District from 2015 until 2023. During his tenure, Mr. Hice served as the Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Government Operations and the Raking Member of the Subcommittee on National Security. Mr. Hice was a founding member and leader of the House Freedom Caucus.

Before Mr. Hice was elected to Congress, He served as a pastor in Texas and Georgia for nearly 25 years after earning his Doctor of Ministry from Luther Rice Seminary. Mr. Hice also earned a master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a bachelor’s degree from Asbury College.

Mr. Hice currently serves as Senior Fellow of the Family Research Council. Additionally, Mr. Hice hosted The Jody Hice Show, a talk radio program, for 11 years.

Mr. Hice was born in Atlanta and raised in Tucker, Georgia. He and his wife, Dee Dee, have been married for over 40 years and have two daughters and four grandchildren.
