Doug Lamborn Exhibits 1 of 2 On October 25, 2021, the Office of Congressional Ethics transmitted a referral to the Committee on Ethics of the United States House of Representatives regarding Rep. Doug Lamborn. Nature of the Review Rep. Lamborn may have misused official resources for personal and non-official purposes. If Rep. Lamborn misused official resources, he may have violated House rules and standards of conduct. OCE Recommendation The Board recommended that the Committee further review the above allegation concerning Rep. Lamborn because there is substantial reason to believe that Rep. Lamborn misused official resources. The Board recommended that the Committee further review the above allegation concerning Rep. Lamborn because there is substantial reason to believe that Rep. Lamborn solicited or accepted improper gifts from subordinates. Committee Action On January 24, 2022, the Committee on Ethics released a statement indicating it would continue to gather information necessary to complete its review. The Committee published the OCE report and findings and announced the allegations would be further reviewed pursuant to Commitee Rule 18(a). |
