Consistent with the desire of the House for more 4transparency in these matters, the OCE released today a report of its activities for the fourth quarter of 2012.

The Board of the Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE) has named OmarAshmawy the Staff Director and Chief Counsel. Mr. Ashmawy previously was theacting Staff Director and had been the office's first Deputy Director.The press release is posted on the OCE's website http://oce.house.gov.
