On August 29, 2024, the Office of Congressional Ethics transmitted a referral to the Committee on Ethics of the United States House of Representatives regarding Rep. Cory Mills.

Amber Venzon is the Director of Operations at the Office of Congressional Conduct ("OCC").  Beginning her Congressional service in 2010, she served most recently as the Chief Clerk to the bipartisan Congressional Oversight Commission (CARES Act). She has also served as the Director of Operations to U.S. Senator Dean Heller (NV) and U.S. Senator Steve Daines (MT). 

Ms. Venzon earned her B.A. in Political Science from Colorado Mesa University, and she graduated from St. Joseph’s University with an M.S. in Criminal Justice with a specialization in Homeland Security.

The Office of Congressional Ethics, established by the House of Representatives, is an independent, non-partisan entity charged with receiving and reviewing allegations of misconduct concerning House members and staff and, when appropriate, referring matters to the Committee on Ethics. Consistent with the desire of the House for more transparency in these matters, the OCE released today a report for the third quarter of 2024.
